INNOCENTI (LEYLAND) (Italy) 1961-1976
Famous for many years for Lambretta scooters, Innocenti built the
BMC (later British Leyland) Mini with 998cc and 1275cc engines under
licence, following with other models, including the Regent (Allegro),
with engines up to 1485cc.
INNOCENTI (Italy) 1976 to date
Successor to Leyland Innocenti, the Nuova Innocenti, made at Milan
by the De Tomaso Group, is similar to the British Mini. It has Bertone-designed
five-seater bodywork and is available with 998cc and 1275cc engines.
