MONTEVERDI (Switzerland) 1967-1980

Basel garage owner Peter Monteverdi began production of his Chrysler V-8 engined 375S luxury model (and the sporting 400SS version) in 1967, joined in 1968 by the long wheelhase 375L. In 1971 the mid-engined Hai ("Shark") 450SS was unveiled.
